Travel regulations
valid for Student Agency, Ltd. lines
STUDENT AGENCY, Ltd. Bašty 2, 602 00 Brno, IČO 25 31 70 75 publish the Travel regulations for regular international coach lines en
routes operated by Student Agency, Ltd. These Travel regulations are valid from 1. 7. 2007 and are available on view at every selling
place and on every carriage of these lines.
in accordance with the law there is a contract of carriage between passenger and carrier when the travel document is bought. These
Travel regulations are part of Contract of carriage, whose conditions passengers accept when buying a ticket.
Carrier STUDENT AGENCY undertakes to carry persons with the valid ticket from departure station to the point of destination in
agreement with in an advance published timetable, tariffs and conditions of a contract.
The tickets are issued for a particualar name (except for the BLUE ones), they include the ticket code, place of departure and arrival,
information on the validity, ticket type and information on potential reduction. The tickets (except for the BLUE ones) are nontransferable. Internal traffic on these lines is not possible.

II. Ticket types
So-called „YELLOW“ or „BLUE“ tickets are issued for international transport. Travel regulations of „YELLOW“ and „BLUE“ tickets vary
in some points. Complete information can be found below.
„Yellow tickets“
A. Special 30 (services to Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France and Italy)
Special 30 Tickets regulations:
1. Purchasing the ticket 30 days at the most before departure.
2. Departures (both ways) except dates from 15/12/2009 till 15/01/2010 and from
1/07/2009 till 31/08/2009
3. Always fixed date of departure (also for the return ticket)
4. Cancellation is not possible (unused ticket expires with no claim for compensation).
5. After the payment of the difference and of the change charge the ticket can be transformed to an Open ticket which cannot be
cancelled.
6. Not possible to combine with other discounts (youths, ISIC, children, seniors)
7. Return is possible at least 60 days after the date of departure of the first journey (applies to return ticket)
B. Special 10 (service to Belgium, Luxemburg and Great Britain)
Special 10 Tickets regulations:
1. Reservation of the ticket 10 days at the most before departure
2. Not possible previous booking - Originality of booking is necessary
3. Always fixed date of departure (also for the return ticket)
4. The change of date and cancellation is not possible (forfeited ticket is non-refundable)
5. Not possible to combine with other discounts (youths, ISIC, children, seniors)
6. Does not apply to one way tickets
7. Return is possible at least 10 days after the date of departure of the first journey
C. Special 2 (services to Belgium, Luxemburg, Great Britain and Denmark, Sweden, Norway)
Special 2 Tickets regulations:
1. Reservation of the ticket 2 days (48 hours) at the most before departure
2. Not possible previous booking - Originality of booking is necessary
3. Not possible to buy when getting on the bus.
4. Always fixed date of departure (also for return ticket)
5. The change of date and cancellation is not possible (forfeited ticket is non-refundable)
6. Not possible to combine with other discounts (youths, ISIC, children, seniors)
7. First journey must begin in Czech or Slovak Republic
8. Return is possible at least 7 days after the date of departure of the first journey (applies to the return ticket), in case of Denmark and
Sweden the first service available.
D. Yearly Open ticket (thereinafter Open ticket)
Validity of the Open Ticket is 12 months from the date of departure of the first journey.
1. Discounts for Open Ticket
Passenger that requires a discount is obliged to show a claim on discount, both when buying and within the journey.
a) Youths up to 26 years of age, seniors above 60 - 10 %
b) Holders of ISIC, EURO 26 and EURO 26 STUDENT cards - 15 %
c) children up to the age of 15 on the line to England,
Belgium and Luxembourg. - 10%
d) children up to the age of 15 on other lines - 50 %
2. Reservation
Open ticket reservation is possible to make by telephone at + 420 5 42 42 42 42 or +420 841 101 101, by email at
info@studentagencybus.com or in person at Student Agency, Ltd. branches and selling places 1 hour before departure at the latest from the starting station within working hours.
It is possible to reserve only the route that is printed on the ticket.
In case of Open ticket reservation the carrier undertakes to satisfy the client’s request as far as availability of free seats is concerned.
3. Reservation cancellation
Reservation of the Open ticket is possible to cancel en route to/from Great Britain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, Netherlands,
Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, France and Denmark 24 hours before departure at the latest and to/from Austria and Hungary 1hour
before departure at the latest. Handling fee will be charged. Cancellation is possible to make by telephone at +420 5 42 42 42 42 or
+420 841 101 101, by email at info@studentagencybus.com or in person at Student Agency, Ltd. branches and selling places
within working hours.
Handling fee:
a) 200 CZK / 200 SKK / 7 EURO / 5 GBP / 15 CHF / 2 000 HUF / 60 DKK / 60 SEK / 60 NOK
for lines to/from Great Britain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Italy and
France
b) 50 CZK / 50 SKK / 2 EURO / 500 HUF for line to/from Austria, Hungary
This fee will be charged by the driver before the departure of the newly reserved route or by the seller, if you are making alterations in
person, or by the seller, when the ticket is being cancelled.
4. Ticket cancellation
Cancellation (refund) of the Yearly Open ticket is possible in person after having shown the ticket at the company where it had been
purchased and the cancellation fee will be charged.
All handling fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation of the Open ticket with unused reservation is possible to cancel en route to/from Great Britain, Belgium, Luxembourg,
Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France and Italy 24 hours before departure at the latest and to/from
Austria and Hungary 1 hour before departure at the latest. Cancellation of the Open ticket without reservation is possible to make at
any time. Used tickets are not possible to cancel.
In case of cancellation of one way only, the unused fare equals the amount you get after subtracting one way fare from return fare.
Refund of unused fare is possible only in the same currency that had been purchased.
C ancellation fees for lines to/from Great Britain, Belgium, L uxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, S witzerland, Sweden
Norway, Denmark, France and Italy
a) cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, the fee of 25 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged
b) cancellation up to 48 - 24 hours before departure, the fee of 50 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged
b) cancellation up to 24 - 0 hours before departure, the fee of 100 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged
Cancellation fees for lines to/from Austria and Hungary
a) cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, the fee of 25 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged
b) cancellation up to 24 - 1 hour before departure, the fee of 50 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged
b) cancellation up to 1 - 0 hour before departure, the fee of 100 % from the amount of unused fare will be charged

A. Ticket for a fixed date
1. It is issued for a specific date, time and route. The seat reservation ticket is issued for a specific seat in the given service.
2. Change or cancellation of this ticket is possible in person at any point of sale. The cancellation is subject to the following conditions:
cancellation up to 24 hours before departure of the bus from the terminus station (Prague/Vienna airport), a fee of 20 % from the ticket
price will be charged; cancellation up to 24 - 1 hour before departure, a fee of 50 % from the ticket price will be charged; the ticket can
be cancelled or changed no later than 60 min. before the departure of the bus.
B. Open ticket
1. The open ticket is bought with no reservation for a specific service. The ticket is valid for one year from the date of issue.
2. The specific service can be booked on the internet site www.studentagency.cz in the Vienna bus tickets section and by sms sent
to 736 333 999. The internet and sms reservations are free of charge and can be made no later than 30 min. before the departure of
the bus from the terminus station (Prague/Vienna airport).
3. Change or cancellation of the reservation can be made by way of internet on www.studetagency.cz or sms sent to 736 333 999.
Change or cancellation of the reservation by way of internet and sms is free of charge and can be made no later than one hour before
the departure of the bus.
4. Cancellation of an open ticket with no reservation is possible only in person at any point of sale. A cancellation fee of 25 % from the
ticket price will be charged.
D. Prepaid ticket
1. General information. The prepaid ticket is issued for a particular date, time and route and the seat reservation is for a particular
seat in given service. In case of buying of a prepaid ticket a fee of 20 CZK is charged. The reservation as well as its cancellation are
possible throught the internet on www.studentagency.cz, or by SMS sent to 736 333 999. The reservation and its cancellation
through the internet and by an SMS is free of charge.
2. The reservation can be changed or cancelled through the internet on www.studentagency.cz or by an SMS sent to 736 333 999.
Any change or cancellation of the ticket through the internet or by an SMS is free of charge and has to be made one hour before the
departure of the bus from the terminal (Prague/Vienna airport) at the latest.
3. Reservation. A prapaid ticket the reservation for which was cancelled can be reserved again through the internet at
www.studentagency.cz. Online reservation and reservation by SMS is free and cannot be used later than 30 minutes before the
departure of the bus from the terminus (Prague/Vienna airport)
4. Cancellation of an open ticket for which no reservation was made can be done only in person at any point of sale. A cancellation fee
of 20% of the ticket price is charged. The handling charge of 20 CZK for the issue of a prepaid ticket is not paid back.
The passengers don’t have to show the actual ticket when getting on the bus. The passenger can communicate the number and bar
code of his/her ticket to the bus crew. It is necessary to know the number and barcode to be able to carry out the journey.

IV. Luggage
1. Free luggage transport for 1 passenger (except for services to Hungary)
a) One hand luggage. For hand luggage are considered luggage that can be carried easily and it is possible to place them under or
above passenger's seat. The passenger is responsible for this luggage within the journey.
b) One piece of luggage not exceeding 25x60x80 cm and 30 kilograms in the baggage compartment.
2. Conditions of the luggage transport
a) Each passenger has a duty to put a name-tag on his/her piece of luggage, which will be placed in the luggage compartment.
b) If passenger has more than 2 pieces of luggage in a luggage compartment, other luggage will be transported only in case of free
capacity.
c) Passenger is obliged to inform the driver about all his/hers luggage placed in the luggage compartment and ask for
issuing a transport document.
d) Bicycle transport is possible (en route to/from Belgium, Luxembourg and Great Britain only in case of addition of a "yellow" bus) but
only with the knowledge and permission of the carrier. Bicycles will be transported only if packed properly and a fee will be charged.
e) If a luggage is exceeding 25x60x80 cm and 30 kilograms, it will be transported only in case of free capacity and a fee will be
charged.
f) If excess luggage is exceeding 25x60x80 cm and 30 kilograms, a fee will be charged for oversized and also for more pieces of
luggage (i.e. a double fee will be charged)
g) Passenger is responsible for back loading of his/hers luggage after a custom check, as well as for reloading at crossing.
h) Luggage those are likely to endanger safety of other passengers or their luggage may be excluded from the transport.
i) Luggage that might jeopardise safety of the passengers and damage other luggage can be excluded from the transport.

a) 1 luggage + 1 hand luggage for free
b) Fee for every other luggage / fee for oversized luggage / fee for bicycle transport
For lines to/from Great Britain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Denmark
300 CZK / 300 SKK / 10 EUR / 7 GBP / 90 SEK / 80 DKK / 100 NOK / 3 000 HUF
F or lines to/from France, Germany, N etherlands and Switzerland
200 CZK / 200 SKK / 7 EUR / 15 CHF / 2 000 HUF
For lines to/from Austria
100 CZK / 100 SKK / 4 EUR
For services to/from Hungary
1 Hand luggage is transferred for free. The transfer of every luggage placed in the luggage compartment will be charged:
Value of the luggage up to 5000 CZK – 10 CZK / 10 SKK / 100 HUF
Value of the luggage over 5000 CZK – 30 CZK / 30 SKK / 300 HUF
4. Carrier's liability for luggage accepted for the transport and the recompense
When luggage is lost, the passenger has the right to the refund of transport charges for the lost luggage and for an authenticated price
refund of the lost luggage up to the maximum limit of 5000 CZK/SKK for one luggage and 10 000 CZK for one passenger.
The passenger has to claims for a luggage loss, an abstraction or damage immediately upon arrival to the destination point to the
stewardess or the driver. STUDENT AGENCY employee is liable to confirm in writing the level of
damage. This confirmation together with the ticket copy and the luggage transport copy must be sended in writing within 60 days at the
address STUDENT AGENCY, s.r.o., Žluté linky, Bašty 2, 602 00 Brno.
The claim will be settled within 15 days from its delivery at the latest.
The carrier is not responsible for damage to luggage, if:
a) passenger is not able to prove a validity of claim by the luggage transport document
b) the packing does not incommensurate to the transported subject
c) the content of luggage was not described by the passenger
d) the carrier is not liable for noncontrollable circumstances that were caused by natural disasters and act of a third party
e) luggage was damaged by the passenger
V. Other conditions
The ticket is issued in favour of the named passenger and is non-negotiable.
1) A ticket copy is not considered as a travel document.
2) After buying the ticket, the passenger is bound to check all the data stated in the ticket. If the ticket doesn’t correspond to the data
demanded, the passenger is allowed to refuse the ticket. In case the incongruity of data in the ticket is pointed out later by the
passenger, procedures will be taken as if it was an ordinary cancellation – it is not considered as a claim.
3) We advice passengers to arrange insurance before the journey.
4) E lectronic ticket: it is convenient to print the ticket out from the e-mail attachement before the journey. In case the client hasn’t
printed the ticket out he’s boud to show at least the reservation code of the ticket. A substitute transport document will be issued.
In case the passenger neither has the e-ticket printed out nor knows the reservation code a ticket duplicate will be issued for a
charge of 500 CZK/SKK.
5) In case the ticket is lost or damaged a duplicate can be issued for a charge of 500 CZK / 50 SKK / 18 EUR / 10 GBP / 5 000 HUF /
30 CHF / 150 SEK / 150 DKK / 150 NOK. As for tickets to Austria and Hungary the price of which is lower than 500 CZK there is
no substitute for a lost or damaged ticket and the passenger is bound to buy a new one. The sum of money paid for the new ticket
or duplicate is nonrefundable.
6) Children up to age of 12 inclusive are not allowed to sit on seats behind the driver, seats No. 1, 2, 3 and 4.
7) Children up to age of 9 inclusive must travel only in the company of an adult.
8) Children between 10 and 14 years old inclusive may travel alone (without being accompanied by an adult) but only with an
authorization form from his/her parents or legal representatives and for the full price of Yearly Open Ticket. The authorization form
is available in Student Agency, Ltd. offices. The procuration form is available at the STUDENT AGENCY express points of sale. In
case of transfer utilization the carrier doesn’t take responsibility for the underage passenger at the time of waiting for the follow-up
connection. En route to/from Austria the boarding/getting off for these passengers is possible only in Brno.
9) Passengers between 15 and 17 years inclusive traveling without being accompanied by an adult may travel only with an
authorization form from their parents or legal representatives.
10) Arrivals and departures on timetables and tickets are quoted in local times. Passengers are requested to check-in no later than 30
minutes before departure. In case they don’t and their station of departure is the same as the one of the bus, they forfeit their claim
to the seat in the booked service.
11) We advice passengers to check the time and place of departure beforehand.
12) Each passenger is liable to have valid travel documents and to be enquired about valid customs regulations. In case passenger is
not allowed by custom or passport authority to continue in the journey, there is no possibility to claim any refund, or any of its
portion, or any other replacement.
13) The ticket must be submitted for inspection upon request together with the identity document, eventually with the claim on
discount.
14) In case passenger does not appear in time or miss the departure, ticket will forfeit without any claim on compensation.
15) The passenger complies with the crew’s instruction. The passenger may be excluded from the transport, if he/she:
a) smokes in vehicle
b) is being noisy or disturb other passengers by unsuitable behavior
c) making other passengers or the vehicle soiled
d) damages the vehicle
16) Passenger who was excluded from the transport cannot claim any kind of refund.
17) A passenger is liable to return in time restricted by the stewardess or the driver in case of a short break within the journey.
18) If the passenger breaks a journey, the ticket becomes invalid
19) If the passenger could not begin his/her journey for which he/she held a ticket for a reason caused by the carrier, the passenger
has the right to get a full fare refund.
20) In case that a loss in connection occurs, a for a delay reason caused by the carrier, in terms of one contract of carriage or the
embarkment of connection transfer was not finalized, the passenger has the right to one of these variants:
a) to be carried by the carrier's next available connection to the point of destination
b) to be carried by the carrier's next available connection to the departure station and refunding the ticket
c) refund the ticket price for unused lap of the journey.
Transfers from / to Ostrava, Olomouc, N. Jičín, Bratislava, Rožňava, Lučenec, B. Bystrica, Nitra, Košice, Prešov, Poprad, L.
Mikuláš, Ružomberok, Žilina, P. Bystrica and Trenčín are secured by regular services STUDENT AGENCY express.
21) Carrier is not responsible for delay owing to circumstances beyond control. In case of late transport, compensation cannot be
claimed.
22) Carrier reserves the right to any change concerning timetable, seat or usage of replacement buses. In case advanced services
(e.g. hot drinks serving, film projections) are not secured, the compensation cannot be claimed.
23) Goods transportation is not possible.
24) A buggy will only be transported in the luggage compartment. For a surcharge.
25) Animal transport is forbidden. It is allowed to transport only guide-dogs accompanying a person with a ZTP/P permit. In this case,
the dog is transported for the price of a child's ticket and will be placed by the seat of the passenger.
The passenger is liable to ensure that the animal will not soil or damage the vehicle or other passengers.
26) On route to/from Great Britain transport over canal la Manche may be secured via tunnel or a ferry.
27) The carrier is not responsible for those passengers who do not respect the Travel regulations.
